In the natural habitat, all rodents work for their own food. The seeds have to be laboriously worked out or collected from various grasses, panicles, cobs, flax, ears of corn or the Sudan grass. Many animals snack on the delicious seeds directly on site, others collect them completely for their bunker.
Feeding recommendation: Depending on the weight of the animal, offer ad libitum or as an occasional treat.
